Jealousy and Photos
You’re going to die from jealousy. After an amazing visit from two of my very best friends, the girls and I made a quick 24 hour trip back to NOVA to meet my newest nephew, and their newest cousin, Brooks. What a ham!
We were exhausted from eating, beaching, playing and drinking with Aunt Robin and Aunt Tammy. The girls skipped nap and followed Robin around since she is a life size Barbie. On the other hand they tortured Tammy with only the occasional hug yet once she left they wouldn’t stop talking about her.
I crack up often thinking about that weekend because Tammy doesn’t have kids yet and mine are wild so she was constantly nervous in terms of “should they be doing that or that?” I think they felt her energy and decided they would tease her more with their antics.
On Sunday everyone packed up their cars and hit the road only to be stuck in massive annoying traffic. I HATE traffic; it’s one of the reasons I moved from that area. That added bonus to the already wonderful time it is traveling with twin toddlers made for a hell of an afternoon. {That is not why you are going to be jealous}. Luckily they fell asleep for most of it.
One thing I miss about living in Ocean City is the option to walk or ride a bike everywhere. Out in the sticks you can’t do that; at least not in our neighborhood so when we head back to VA I like to walk when we can. It might be to my sister’s house or the playground or just for fun. With the warm weather the rain didn’t stop us. The girls thought it was so cool that we got caught in rain storm after rain storm and took our shoes off to walk back to Grammy and Pops.
Aside of going back to meet Brooks, I wanted to practice taking photos. I love taking pictures but it is so hard when you are “trying.” So I am getting the nursery set up so we can try and get some shots in between the sun popping his head out when my sister handed me Brooks and said, quite casually, “where do you want to put your Godson?” And that’s why you’re jealous.
I started crying because she caught me so off guard and I was so flattered and blessed. To me a Godparent is a huge honor. She got me good! That little stinker is so cute and sweet! Thank you Holly and Keithy pooh! I am so thrilled! Let the spoiling begin!

Told ya! Aren’t ya jealous????
How sweet! I love how you can see the fuzz… honestly though- I am not quite jealous- yet. Still a little too fresh for me, but I bet in a year I will be lol!
haha! I just meant of being his Godmother. I definitely didn’t think you would be jealous with all the little ones you have right now
Awe yay! That was a cute way to tell you!
