Water Day

The girls and I had a great day.  With all the chaos that the flooring has brought on our home combined with some serious allergy attacks I knew that we couldn’t spend the day in the house; we would all go crazy.  The beach bag always ready, I called my nephew, Sam, who is the mate on the Sea Rocket to find out when his summer schedule started.  “All week,” he told me so I told him we would be down.

The Sea Rocket is a boat that holds about 150 people and they cruise up the coast to Delaware and back to the Ocean City inlet.  We went last year and had a fun time.  They blast some great music, Sam has a sneaky squirt gun he keeps tucked away and if you’re lucky, like we are, you get to see some dolphins up close!

Difficult to capture a good picture with kids your lap!

The one caveat I had was I wanted the slowest tour time because I wasn’t in the mood to deal with people. HA!  As soon as we got to the dock Sam was laughing because a tour decided to come through.  Non –the-less we had a great time.  We bumped into my other nephew, a few other cuties, and the girls walked on the beach and checked out the fish while waiting to board.

Cutest Guests on Board

After our wonderful relaxing cruise, (aside of H dancing on her seat the entire time- entertaining the people behind her) we got ice cream and headed to my sister’s to go swimming.  More energy burned than necessary and now some sleepy peepys in bed.

Now to get a good night’s sleep for tomorrow brings the grunt work; laying floors and getting this house back together!
