Something New in July
I haven’t been keeping up on my resolution “check-in” to make sure I’m staying on track so let’s take a quick look at that before we move on shall we?
The temper is far better, with the girls anyway. I don’t really care if I’m a hothead elsewhere; I’m not sculpting their future. So with my girls I have settled down tremendously, at least considering the challenges twin toddlers can have on a person!
I am eating better (most days), living cleaner, cooking way more (fun), reading more, spending better time with Steve, and way less TV time.
So that is the positive side. The negative side is at this point no baby is popping out this year! I haven’t been crocheting much (even though my neighbor is on me about it and I need to get her help) and I haven’t done anything with Turtlegurlz but that is only 50% my fault!
Not bad, I gotta tell ya. I’m feeling good so I’ve decided to add one more resolution but only for the month of July. I want to try to do something fun and new each day with the girls. It’s difficult to do fun outdoor activities in this heat especially since I hate the heat!
Yesterday was a great start to our plan; a day on the boat which we get to do often but clamming was a totally new adventure!
Today we did a few things at home since sleepy heads slept until almost 10:00! They played in their pool and then we picked apples off of our apple tree to make pies for July 4th, they painted their old birdhouses, and we scrubbed all of the coolers!
Since all of these coolers were dirty….
We had to roll old school with this….
Tomorrow we are going to hit a fun playground after school that we have never been to, fill and hang the birdfeeders and actually make the pies!
Any local tips on fun things to do let us know!

I’m inspired. Way to go, KerryO!
Thank you kindly
Where does one even buy something like that?!? LoL!
Bergeman probably found it in a curb trash can after a garage sale and decided it was perfectly salvagable!

That was mine! Jason Zimecki bought me that cooler when we were in college. HAHAHA loved that thing!
NO WAY!! How did I end up with it? Too funny!
