Bad Bird Food New Bird Food
These little whipper snappers are little birdy whisperers. We went to fill their feeders but found an infestation in the feed bag. I don’t like a heartbroken kid so we made our own. We smashed up peanuts, almonds, raisins, craisins, sunflowers seeds, and pumpkin seeds; that’s all we had in house.
I ended up having to put them in a baggie and use a roller pin to smush them up really fine so the little birdies don’t choke.
The girls then filled them carefully….
I placed them on the steps but they moved them to the middle of the yard. Their bird houses, their choice.

Bird houses of choice. How old are kids when they change their favorite color? Zach’s was chartreuse when he was 5.
interesting that you bring that up. over the last few weeks H has claimed red to be another favorite color of hers….
