Fertility Friday 3

So there has been much discussion in the way of having more kids. We always wanted a big family but after all the issues the first time around we counted our blessings and settled on twins that were perfect and fully completed our family. Or so we thought. After an ectopic pregnancy over a year ago we couldn’t help shake that itch for more kids. We tried on our own but after many attempts and many doctor visits it seems there is just too much internal damage from too many major surgeries for another “on our own” pregnancy to occur with success. So here we are heading back to the fertility specialist to begin again. Is this crazy? Are we messing with Mother Nature too much? Should we be thankful for our little girls and close that door? Does anyone out there have thoughts on this topic?

i think you should do what your heart compels you to do. who knows what the outcome will be…. i truly believe that we have intelligence in our body and not just our brain and mind. this intelligence can guide us through in “gut” feelings.. so i say pursue it! ;)

Go for it! You ARE thankful for your little girls. So thankful that you want to give even more and double your joy! There is nothing wrong with that. A friend of mine tried again, no succes, but at least she can say she tried before it was all too late.

Crazy, yes (hormones, long trips, etc.)! But you know…I am a huge fan of CRAZY! You and Steve are great parents and any child would be lucky to call you Mom/Dad. If you have it in your heart to try again, then you should. Every new day is another chance to change your life. Why live with the regret of not trying?

I just had a talk with Mother Nature. She had so much to tell me! Stuff about butterflies, the population hitting 7 billion, bee populations, mosquitoes, feral cats, and snow. She went on and on. I asked her if you were messing with her. She said in a bad-assy tone, “No one messes with me!” Then she said, “I want Kerry to have another baby or two or three or.” She paused and asked, “How many kids does she want?” I told her I didn’t know. You’d better talk to her, too. If you sit very quietly outside with your eyes closed for a brief moment, she’ll listen.

you do whatever feels good in your heart and soul! That’s the beautiful thing about mordern medicine…sometimes things in life need a little help or push :) God has you here for a purpose (reason)…so, do that damn thing girl! (in my best gangsta voice) many blessings and prayers in your journey decisions ahead :)
