We are now cutting out gluten. BLAH we love gluten in this house. The more bread we can shove down our throats the better!
BUT again the evil disease has plagued our home and my little L has major psoriasis so I’m taking a month and eliminating or cutting severely back on dairy, gluten, processed and alcohol for the entire home and I hope to find some benefits in health, mood and energy for all.
We love pancakes and waffles. Until I get the hang (and time) to make my own dough from scratch I bought this Bisquick gluten free mix and it wasn’t that bad.
I dislike syrup. It’s sugary, it’s stinky, and it gets EVERYWHERE! From day one we have used honey or yogurt on our pancakes but last night I made a fruit topping and they went crazy for it.
- One cup of frozen mixed fruit (cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
- To make it real syrupy I added about a tablespoon of sugar.
- Put in pot with lid on and placed inside a pan with water on high heat
- Stir until desired consistency
