TurtleGurlz Giveaway

My very first giveaway, from a company I am “somewhat” vested in. Turtlegurlz was a concept my dear friend and I came up with a few years back. It was our way of making fun stuff for our daughters and also giving back to our communities.

It originally started with these very cool interchangeable headbands when Lisa’s daughter wanted to wear a bandana but couldn’t keep it on her head. Years later we were successful after Lisa designed this cool piece so Gracie could be just like Mommy.

We created TurtleGurlz and had some success early on but didn’t have the time to really nurture this dream. We have since had some creative collaborating with another artist, as well as reaching deep down and making a strong commitment to our passion.

Now we have branched out to knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing and more. We have picked up a brilliant new artist, Mauna P, and hope to have more interested in joining our team. All artists that sell with us must give 10% to a charity of their choice.

Lisa and I will always contribute to helping little girls fight cancer. We pick a different treatment or research center each month. We have even gotten our children involved in the volunteer aspect. Although my little ones still don’t understand, they do know that they need to donate their toys and books periodically to other children who don’t have as much.

Our shop is on Etsy under TurtleGurlz but you can also, and we encourage you, to follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Please help us spread the word.

If you have a charity you would like us to donate to please send us a message at turtlegurlz@yahoo.com. If you are interested in bulk items or special one of a kind items let us know. If you are interested in showcasing your work or know someone who is, you got it, let us know.

In the meantime enter for your chance to make a little girl very happy with our adorable winter white giveaway featuring a one of a kind tutu apron and a shiny eyelash sequin scarf valued at over $45. They are perfect for your daughter or another little girl just in time for the holidays.
